Out of the Cold

Welcome to the 2007 alpine season!  An eagerly awaited moment for the past nine months.  Effortlessly schussing down slopes.  Making fresh tracks under crisp and sunny skies.  Chatting it up on the lift.  So much fun.

For all about an hour.  Which is exactly the amount of time to lose all feeling in your toes.  And you beat a hasty retreat inside to warm up.
