Stubbornly Safe
Sticks and stones may break your bones (especially while mountain biking). But words will never hurt you. Especially when they call you stubborn.
On the contrary, you proudly wear your dogged determination as a badge of honor.
How else did you overcome your fear of heights to get to the top of Half Dome? And that side stitch that hit you in at kilometer 3 of the 10K race? You stuck it out and crossed the finish line in an upright position.
But how about all those times when you insist on training alone in the dark? Stubborn? Check. Pig-headed? Yep. Unwise? Definitely. Do you know better? Absolutely. Can you be convinced to change your ways? Probably not.
Your stubborn streak may prevail but keep it (and yourself) safe by carrying a Power Button by Doberman Security. A touch of the button emits a deafening warning signal and a flashing red light that can be seen a mile away. The Power Button creates enough commotion to make potential predators think twice of messing with you and you get a chance to make your getaway. It straps comfortably to your arm (hint: in lieu of your MP3 player) and lightweight enough that you forget it’s there - until you need it.
Being prepared just like your Girl Scout days - that’s a badge of honor to be proud of.
