The Big Apple Run

Once upon a time in Flin Flon Manitoba, there lived a Princess who loved to run.  One day she met the Prince of her dreams through online dating and before she knew it, she was whisked away to New York City.

It was an entirely different world to her.  The crowds of people.  The sky-high buildings.  New York was worlds away from Flin Flon.

The Princess had a lot of free time on her hands while waiting for US Immigration to process her work visa.  She really missed running but because of an overdose of FOX News, she was too nervous to run by herself.

Then one day, she happened upon NYC Run, a cool little outfit that offered guided running tours of New York City.  A perfect combination.  The Princess was able to run with other like-paced runners, and learn about her new home while in the secure company of knowledgeable locals.

There were 20 routes to choose from, plus the option for custom tailored routes.  So the Princess started to run again.  Through Central Park with its changing leaves.  Through lively Greenwich Village.  Along Roosevelt Island for the New York skyline.  Through historic Harlem.

Along the way, she befriended other running locals and numerous running tourists from all parts of the world.  And the Princess learned that New York was a really great city filled with friendly people.  Not at all like what they showed on the news,

So the Princess lived there happily ever after.
