Babes Gone Wild

Scientists conducting a gene mapping study revealed their latest findings.  The ski teaching gene located on the Y chromosome has been significantly mutated.  However, it continues to thrive on the X chromosome.

Based on these findings, scientists recommend that women reject all offers of ski lessons from husbands and boyfriends.  And in the interest of their safety, future skiing enjoyment and relationships with all things “Y”, women should schedule some time with the Babes in the Backcountry.

These double X-ed babes will get you schooled on all the critical skills to thrive in the wild.  Whether you’re in-bounds or in the backcountry, Babes in the Backcountry are all about creating a fun and positive environment for women to hone their skills and learn new ones.

Get the confidence to master chutes and steeps by signing up for Sister of Steeps.  Learn the basics of backcountry travel at a one day or weekend workshop.  Or practice backcountry and avalanche safety skills as part of a multi-day hut trip.

All adventures are led by fun-loving women steeped with experience (we love puns!).  And with a participant-to-guide ratio of 6-to-1, there are plenty of opportunities for personalized instruction.  Or get together with at least three other like-minded fun-loving gal-pals and the Babes will work with you to customize one of their adventures.

Return home with new skills and confidence.  And if inclined, attempt to teach them to the men in your life.   Good luck and proceed with caution, because current research indicates that the listening gene located on the Y chromosome has been mutated too.
