What a Dish

Mashed potato volcano is about to erupt. Sending a trail of gravy rushing down. Potentially a direct hit on pea town.  Unless chicken nugget dam can hold it back and save the day.

When you were a kid, you loved to play with your food.  But your momma always told you to eat your food.  Not play with it. However, she never said you couldn't play with your dishes.

A fun innovation from the UK, Orikaso brings the art of origami to your dishes.  In a matter of seconds, transform flat sheets of heavy-duty plastic into bowls, plates, cups or mugs.  Or keep them flat to use as a cutting board or serving platter.

Orikaso dishes are incredibly versatile.  Its food-grade polypropylene construction is super light (even lighter than titanium) and can stand up to cold or boiling temperatures.  They’re also a cinch to clean, since they fold out flat and are even dishwasher safe.

They’re available in individual pieces or as a complete set.  Or if you really feel like you've got the space, get a set for two, which still only measures 6 mm high when stacked.

Save space and weight, leaving more room for other backpacking essentials, like fudge.  Now that really saves the day.
