Kissing Your Axe

As a goddess, there can be a lot of pressure to demonstrate your goddess powers. So when you find that walking on water becomes a total yawner, shock them by scaling water.  Frozen water that is.

Feeling that your ice climbing skills are a little rusty or under-developed?  Sign up with the goddesses who live to empower you with these gravity defying skills. 

Chicks with Picks are all about women teaching women how to ice climb.  Their multi-day clinics are the perfect opportunity to hone your ice climbing techniques in a fun and supportive environment. 

For winter 2007, Chicks with Picks has five clinics on tap.  They vary based on location (Colorado vs. New Hampshire), skill level (ranging from the basics to Veteran Betty for the experienced) and duration (Teasers vs. Complete Chick).  Taught by some of the most accomplished climbers around – these Chicks love to climb and their enthusiasm is contagious. 

In addition to their awe inspiring climbing skills, these Chicks have big hearts too.  They raise money for local women’s shelters by conducting a gear auction and slide show as part of every clinic.  To date, they have raised over $90,000 and working hard to exceed $100,000 this year.

Take your goddessness to new heights and as you descend, we’ll be kissing your axe.
