March 29, 2008 - Run the Reservoir 15K
Trinity Episcopal Church and Rhode Island Road Runners have teamed up to present this inaugural event to benefit the local food closet. Enjoy a scenic loop over pristine watershed lands including 1/2 mile causeway over the middle of RI's primary water supply. Choose between a 3 person relay walk or complete the distance solo. Please consider bringing a non-perishable food item to help support the cause.

April 6, 2008 - 32nd Cohasset Road Race by the Sea
One of the most beautiful 10K road race course in the Northeast. Course route features rolling hills thru the woods and along the coast, beaches, Cohasset harbor, and the historic Cohasset Common. Sponsored by the Cohasset Rotary Club to help support the Rotary's charitable endeavors.

March 30, 2008 - Introductory Bike Repair Clinic
Pull your bike out of hibernation and return it to riding condition with the help from a couple of cycling buddies. MassBike has teamed up with the bike repair experts at Broadway Bicycle School in Cambridge to offer an introductory bike repair class. This two-hour class session covers fixing a flat, how to do a safety inspection, lubrication, and general maintenance. Classes are limited to 8 participants, and pre-registration is required.

April 5, 2008 - Trail Work Day at Foxboro State Forest
Help prep the mountain bike trails for the upcoming season. Join the SE Massachusetts branch of the New England Mountain Biking Association for a day of trail maintenance. Pizza will be provided for all volunteers and everyone is invited to join in for the mountain bike blow down ride following lunch (weather and mud permitting). Please bring work gloves and work boots.

Kick off the paddling season with North and South River Watershed Association's Annual Kayak Expo. Over 15,000 sq. feet, there's lots to see and learn including slide show presentations of kayak vacation adventures, demonstrations on paddle making, displays by major vendors of kayaks and equipment. With lots of experts on hand, this is a great opportunity to learn more about gear and instruction for all levels, ages and price points.
