April 27, 2008 - Third Annual Blue Hills Trail Races
Do the Fox Trot (10 miles) or the Bunny Hop (3 miles) on the trails at Blue Hills Reservation. The course follows dirt roads and forest paths and the Fox Trot includes a good mix of single track for some extra fun. Pre-registration required and limited to 250 runners.
Time: 9 AM

April 19, 2008 - Middlesex Fells Mountain Bike Opening Day
Celebrate the 2008 mountain bike season at the Fells with NEMBA and the Department of Conservation. Open to riders of all abilities who share a common interest in a fun day of riding. There will be advanced, intermediate, and mellower groups going out at various times during the day. It's a great way to get out and meet fellow riders, learn more about NEMBA and this great riding area.

Support the American Diabetes Association and ride in Tour de Cure, a series of fund-raising cycling events held in 40 states nationwide. Designed for riders of all levels, choose between the 15, 30 or 50 mile route and enjoy this scenic oceanside route on Cape Cod.

May 4, 2008 - The Sheriff's Sprint Triathlon
Despite being hosted by the Sheriff's Department, triathletes of all levels are encouraged to speed their way through course. Swim 300 yards, bike 9 miles and run 3 miles and help raise money for the Ludlow Boys and Girls Club.

June 1, 2008 - The King Pine Triathlon
Make a family weekend out of it and escape to New Hampshire for a scenic triathlon nestled in the White Mountains. Open to all ages 14 and up the course features a 1/3 mile swim, 12.5 mile bike and 3.1 mile run. There's also a duathlon for land lovers while kids under 14 will get a kick out of the 100yd swim, 2 mile mountain bike, and 1/2 mile run. Racers and families are also encouraged to recycle their old running shoes which will be donated to Soles4Souls.
