Join this weekly racing series in Howard County MD. Races range from 2 miles to 15 kilometers and are accurately timed. It's so easy, just show up no more than 30 minutes before the race to register.  Runners of all abilities and ages are welcome.

March 1, 2008 - White Oak Canyon/Robertson Mountain, Shenandoah Nat'l Park, VA
Enjoy a 10 mile hike featuring a unique routing of familiar Shenandoah Central District attractions. "Ooh and ahh" at White Canyon's six waterfalls, swagger along the Skyland-Big Meadows Horse Trail, Old Rag Fire Rd., and Robertson Mtn. Trail, summit Robertson Mtn. for an awe-inspiring view and finally descend to the settlement of Nethers.

Get the tools and motivation to give it a tri. This course is appropriate for newbies and novices. Each participant will be given individualized guidelines for creating a training program based on the coaches' observations and evaluations during the day. In the spirit of World Water Day, support efforts to develop new water supply in drought stricken Niger. Runners will run one segment (runner's choice in distance) of a marathon, 26.2 miles, which is the average distance children travel to locate water for their families.
