August 9-10, 2008: Tour de Skyline Drive
Show your support for the boys by participating in Tour de Skyline in support of The Prostate Cancer Awareness Project. Starting at Front Royal, riders will ride the entire length of Skyline Drive over two days, terminating in Rockfish Gap. This is a fully supported ride and fee includes meals, lodgings, snacks, mechanical support, return transportation to Front Royal and event jersey and shorts. Due to Park restrictions, this ride will be limited to 20 riders.

HIV and AIDS Have Not Disappeared. And in Washington DC, it's estimated that 1 in 20 residents are infected. Join BBSSU cycling club for a 40 mile ride throughout DC's 8 Wards to raise awareness and funds to combat HIV/AIDS. Stay for a post-ride BBQ and discussion on the HIV/AIDS crises in the District.

Geared toward beginner and novice triathletes, this clinic will help you prepare for short course triathlons with open water swims, particularly the upcoming Luray International and Sprint Triathlons on 8/16 and 8/17. The clinic includes course discussion; a lifeguard supervised open water practice swim in beautiful Lake Arrowhead; and a chance to ride and run the scenic bike and run courses.

Try this hike: Catoctin Mountain Park
In case your invitation to presidential retreat Camp David got lost in the mail, you should still stick around and explore Catoctin's 25 miles of scenic hiking trails. If you're Fido-free, swing by adjacent Cunningham Falls State Park to check out the 78 foot cascading waterfall or go for post-hike dip in Hunting Creek Lake.
