August 26, 2007 - 25th Annual Reston Bicycle Club Century
Select from four routes of approximately 34, 65, 102, and 125 miles that follow beautiful rolling rural roads through scenic historical towns such as Hamilton, Purcellville, Round Hill, Lovettsville, Taylorstown, and Waterford. All rides are fully supported with rest stops and food, bike mechanics, and SAG vehicles.
Time: Double Metric and Century riders must start by 9:00 am. All other riders must start by 10:00 am

Sponsored by the Washington DC chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club, visit a 3000-acre research/education preserve on Chesapeake Bay, with a tour of a laboratory, a 3 mile hike on nature trails, and paddling (SERC's canoes or your own boat). Finish your day with a dinner at a seafood restaurant.

Ongoing - Whitewater rafting
Ride the rapids on a dynamic recirculating whitewater course that includes everything from straight shot of the rapids, surfing holes, and grabbing eddies. Rafting trips will include 4 to 6 runs down the course and a conveyor belt will transport you back to the start of the course after each run.

Ongoing - Ice Skating at Fort Dupont Ice Arena
