August 25, 2007 - WABA’s 50 States and 13 Colonies Tour
A unique 60+mile tour of Washington DC that covers all 50 state streets in all eight wards.  For riders seeking shorter distances, sign up for the 15 mile Colonies Tour that covers each of the 13 avenues names for the original colonies.

September 2, 2007 - Introduction to Mountain Biking (Women Only)
Led by women, learn basic mountain biking skills to increase your confidence on the trails. Learn all about ascending and descending hills, trail etiquette, choosing lines and negotiating minor obstacles (roots, rocks, etc.) Novara mountain bikes are provided for those without a bike of their own at no extra cost but please bring your helmet and proper riding apparel. Pre-registration required.

Learn all about owls during this fun informative event for the whole family.  Join a park ranger to study the diet of owls by dissecting owl pellets, then hike up the Piedmont Overlook Trail to search for these skilled nocturnal birds of prey.
