Take part in the MD RRCA State Championship Series race
featuring some hills for the strong, some straight-aways for the
swift, making this course both fun and challenging.
Time: 15 K at 5:00 PM, 3K at 5:10 PM
Where: Greenbelt Youth Center - the 15K starting line is on
Northway opposite St. Hugh’s School Parking Lot, the 3K starting
line is between the Youth Center & the tennis courts.

September 22, 2007 - 12th Annual Quantico Half Marathon
The fastest growing race in the area and the official training
event for the Marine Corps Marathon! The course starts and
finishes at Barnett Field, and encompasses the entire base.
The route is fast, but challenging. Race is limited to 1,500.

Discover Kent County, Delaware’s beautiful Amish countryside
on your choice of 15, 25, 50, 62 or 100 mile loops in mostly flat,
rural areas. Every route begins and ends in historic downtown
Dover. All routes are SAG patrolled and include up to 4 food
stops, including their famous Amish Schoolhouse stop where you

A moderate 9.2 mile hike with 1300' elevation gain in George
Washington National Forest. Nice views from the top and
interesting forest along the route.

- Great North Mtn. Circuit
Meet up with members of the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club
for a 17 mile hike in George Washington National Forest on the
Great North Mountain Circuit. Excellent views of fall foliage.
Moderate pace, stopping for flora and fungi of interest.
Elevation gain 3,000 feet.

September 15, 2007 - The Fredericksburg Off-Road Duathlon (F.O.R.D.) Series (#3 of a three-part series)
Participate in the last of this year's Fredericksburg Off-Road Duathlons (F.O.R.D.s) racing series where the focus is on friendly, fun competition. Both Beginner (two 1.1 mile runs split by a 6 mile mtn bike) and Advanced Team (Two 2.3 runs split by a 12 mile mtn bike) options are available. Perks include a post race barbeque while hanging out on "the beach" of the Rappahannock River!

Join REIs Outdoor School in a beautiful location for a day of hands-on learning. Explore your camera and practice your compositional skills on this photographic field trip.
