The hike begins at the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Park then embarks upon Billy Goat Trail "B." This is a moderately difficult hike, perfect for anyone who is reasonably physically fit. The trail passes through a floodplain, with a gentle hike along the smooth, peaceful river. The complete hike consists of a loop, and takes about 1 1/2 hours.
