This course is designed to introduce the beginner to the fundamentals of rock climbing, using a top rope system. The class takes place outside at a local climbing crag, on the banks of the of the beautiful Rappahannock River. From there you'll learn about the necessary gear, as well as basic climbing techniques. Virginia Outdoor Center guides provide the experience and equipment.
