Get free bike lights at WABA's “Got Lights?” bicycle safety and education event. WABA will give out 200 free front and rear bike light sets to help make streets safer for nighttime riders by raising awareness of the importance of being seen when cycling, especially at night.

Celebrate this day with the Sierra Club by hiking the Underground Railroad Experience Trail to the Friends Meetinghouse and the Sandy Spring Slave Museum (6 mi round trip), with a subsequent visit to the Oakley Cabin, a restored slave cabin.

It's Veteran's Day! This 6.2 mile hike lies in the western portion of the battlefield that was the site of the Second Battle of Bull Run. The trail goes through both meadows and wooded areas, and includes a number of battlefield sites and monuments.
