Happy Trails

December 21, 2007

With winter officially kicking off tomorrow, you can count on three more months (four in Boston and Toronto) of gray skies, longer commutes and a need for some heat.

And until your request to transfer to Thailand is approved, you can generate your own heat when you check out Winter Trails.

Now in its 13th year, Winter Trails is a fun-filled event, introducing snowshoeing and cross-country skiing to adults and kids alike. Held on January 12, 2008 at over 80 locations across the United States (February 16 in Estes Park, Colorado), it’s a great opportunity to try these winter blues busting activities for free.

While specific events will vary from site to site, you can expect great perks like free equipment rentals and instruction to get you off on the right foot. Other fun activities may also include guided nature hikes, and informative clinics.

Super easy to participate, reservations not required, it’s simply a matter of checking out the Winter Trails website for a convenient location near you.

And before you know it, you and the entire family will be hot on the trails.
