Paddling in the Pink

November 19, 2007

Not unlike men, you take an active interest in matters of the breast. Literally. You run for the cure. Biked for the cure. And climbed for the cure.

And now you can paddle for a cure with a cool pink paddle. The brainchild of Sue Prom, who's also at the helm of Voyageur Canoe Outfitters, the Pink Paddle was created to attack breast cancer from two angles. Help fund breast cancer research while promoting canoeing as a positive and soothing experience for cancer fighters and survivors.

Pink Paddles are marked with a graceful logo, a symbol inspired by the New Zealand Maori that represents strength, peace and new beginnings. And not just a pretty face (though it makes an awesome piece of art), the bent-shaft graphite design is super light, comfortable and durable, greatly improving paddling efficiency.

Pink Paddles are available in various sizes and custom sizing is also available.

So everyone can have a hand in this upstream battle.
